Beta Bionics received FDA clearance for Mint, a new insulin patch pump with a reusable and disposable architecture that does not require recharging. The pump integrates with Abbott’s FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus continuous glucose monitor, as well as Dexcom G7 and G7 15 Day sensors, and connects with iOS and Android smartphones. Beta Bionics plans a first-quarter 2027 commercial launch exclusively through pharmacies, adding a competing pump option within the connected diabetes-technology ecosystem.
