Analog Devices adopted Cadence’s Tensilica DSP technology for its new SHARC-FX processor core. The core is designed for the ADSP-SC84x/2184x automotive audio processor family and targets compute-intensive audio, voice, and AI workloads in software-defined vehicles. It delivers up to five times the performance of its predecessor and supports road-noise cancellation, immersive 3D audio, and AI-assisted functions. The platform uses a 16nm process and expanded memory.
