Special charges, net were a $24.2 million benefit in the third quarter of fiscal 2026 compared with $4.3 million of charges in the prior-year quarter. Nine-month special charges declined to $23.8 million from $70.0 million. The third-quarter change primarily reflected a $24.4 million gain on the sale of a subsidiary in Penang, Malaysia. Fiscal 2026 nine-month charges also included a $15.6 million impairment related to the asset group in leased facilities in San Jose, California.
