ADM reported second-quarter total segment operating profit of approximately $1.5 billion. Earnings growth was driven by stronger oilseed crushing execution, favorable biofuels margins, elevated global energy prices, and continued momentum in Nutrition. Adjusted EPS was $1.84, compared with $0.93 in the year-ago quarter, representing an increase of more than 90%. Crushing and ethanol were identified as the principal contributors to the earnings rebound.
