Second-quarter net income increased $537 million from a $150 million loss to $387 million of income, while six-month net income increased $885 million from a $223 million loss to $662 million. Net income attributable to AES increased $521 million to $426 million in the second quarter and $962 million to $913 million for the six months ended June 30, 2026.
