Japan Product Sales
AFLAC INC · 2026-08-06 · Importance 37 · Surprise 32 · No source text
Aflac Japan second-quarter new annualized premium sales decreased 5.6% to ¥19.6 billion, or $123 million. The decline reflected a high prior-year comparison after the March 2025 launch of Miraito cancer insurance. Strong growth in refreshed Tsumitasu savings-type life insurance and Anshin Palette medical insurance, launched in December 2025, partly offset the decline. First-half Japan sales increased 7.0% to ¥37.3 billion, or $235 million.
