Corporate and other total adjusted revenues decreased 13.4% in the second quarter of 2026 and 11.9% for the first six months, primarily because of lower net earned premiums and adjusted net investment income. Adjusted net investment income declined 10.9% in the quarter and 12.2% for the six months, reflecting lower short-term income and amortized hedge income that was only partly offset by higher fixed-rate income. Total adjusted expenses increased 2.6% in the quarter and 8.3% for the six months, primarily because of higher interest expense. Pretax adjusted earnings decreased 150.0% in the quarter and 115.9% for the six months, with reinsurance-related impacts also contributing to the decline.
