Gross loss reserves net of contractual deductible recoverables were approximately $16.1 billion at June 30, 2026, up from $13.8 billion at December 31, 2025. These amounts primarily relate to U.S. Commercial casualty policies with high deductibles and represent credit exposure because AIG manages and pays the entire claim before reimbursement by policyholders. AIG held approximately $10.2 billion of collateral, primarily letters of credit and funded trust agreements, against these recoverables at June 30, 2026, compared with $9.6 billion at year-end 2025.
