At June 30, 2026, unconsolidated VIEs had total assets of $315.425 billion, while AIG’s maximum exposure to loss was $4.359 billion. The maximum exposure comprised $2.907 billion of on-balance-sheet exposure and $1.452 billion of off-balance-sheet exposure, including $1.166 billion of unfunded private-equity commitments. Compared with December 31, 2025, total VIE assets declined 22.8% from $408.732 billion and maximum exposure declined 8.9% from $4.787 billion.
