Brokerage workforce increased 25% to 56,202 employees at June 30, 2026 from 44,909 employees a year earlier, primarily reflecting acquired businesses and related integration. Risk management workforce increased to 11,254 employees from 10,584 employees, a 6% increase that was below the materiality threshold but supports the broader workforce expansion. Six-month 2026 brokerage workforce and lease termination charges totaled $53 million in compensation expense and $14 million in operating expense.
