AKAMAI TECHNOLOGIES INC · 2026-08-06 · Importance 68 · Surprise 42 · From source text

Second-quarter capital expenditures were $347 million, equal to 32% of revenue, and were below guidance because GPU deliveries arrived shortly after quarter-end. Q3 capital expenditures are expected to increase to $475 million–$525 million, or approximately 43%–46% of revenue, as delayed GPU shipments and major contract buildouts are funded. Akamai expects up to $500 million of additional capital expenditures to replenish and expand GPU capacity, with approximately $60 million incurred in 2026 and the remainder in early 2027. Full-year 2026 capital expenditures are expected to equal approximately 40% of revenue.
