SKC will raise its ownership of Absolics, its semiconductor glass-substrate subsidiary, to 82.37% through an additional 92.1 billion won rights-offering investment. Applied Materials left its allocated shares unsubscribed, enabling SKC to acquire them and bringing SKC’s cumulative investment to approximately 373.1 billion won.
