Data Center demand trends
ADVANCED MICRO DEVICES INC · 2026-02-04 · Importance 84 · Surprise 74
Data Center net revenue rose to $16.6 billion in 2025, a 32% increase versus $12.6 billion in 2024, driven by strong demand for 5th generation AMD EPYC™ processors and AMD Instinct™ GPU accelerators (notably the MI350 Series). Operating income for Data Center was $3.6 billion in 2025, modestly above prior year despite higher cost of sales and elevated operating expenses. Management also disclosed approximately $440 million of net inventory and related charges associated with U.S. export controls on certain MI308 products, which partially offset margin improvement. Large hyperscale customers, OEMs and ODMs deployed MI350X Series GPUs in 2025 as AMD accelerated its AI-focused Data Center roadmap.
