At the AI Infra Summit on September 15, 2026, AMD and SiFive demonstrated AMD ROCm 10.0 running on SiFive’s BigSky Datacenter Development Platform. The demonstration used SiFive Performance P870-D CPUs as head nodes and AMD Radeon AI PRO R9700 GPUs for inference offload. The system ran the Gemma4-E2B large language model, indicating an effort to extend AMD’s ROCm software ecosystem to RISC-V-based datacenter servers.
