Second-quarter operating income increased 18% to a record $544 million, while operating margin expanded 60 basis points to 26.6%. Core operating margin rose 110 basis points to 27.1%, supported by approximately 40% incrementals, enterprise productivity, and pricing that more than offset inflation and tariffs. Electromechanical Group core margin expanded 290 basis points to 26.2%, primarily because Paragon Medical phased in new products and operated with a leaner cost structure. Management increased the enterprise-wide productivity target to $160 million for 2026 from $155 million previously.
