Amazon announced an additional $1.9 billion investment in its Delivery Service Partner program for 2027. The program is intended to raise Delivery Associate pay to a national average of nearly $24 per hour. Amazon said serious delivery crashes have declined by more than 23%, supported by safety initiatives and AI-powered tools including Wellspring and Smart Delivery Glasses.
