Consolidated operating income increased 43% to $27.5 billion in Q2 2026 from $19.2 billion and increased 37% to $51.3 billion for the six months ended June 30, 2026. Consolidated operating margin expanded to approximately 13.7% in Q2 from 11.4% and to approximately 13.4% for six months from 11.6%. AWS operating income increased 64% to $16.6 billion in Q2 and 42% to $30.8 billion for six months, producing substantially higher segment profitability than North America and International. North America operating income rose to $9.1 billion in Q2 and $17.4 billion for six months, while International operating income increased to $1.7 billion and $3.1 billion, respectively, as higher unit, advertising, and subscription sales exceeded shipping and fulfillment cost increases.
