Management is positioning Arista to serve scale-up, scale-out and Scale-Across AI networking use cases as customers adopt diverse accelerators and models. The company said non-NVIDIA accelerator deployments, including AMD MI-series products, Google TPUs and customer-developed processors, create opportunities for Arista to participate in custom racks and in both scale-up and scale-out networking. Arista expects trials of its 1.6-terabit platform in the second half of 2026, with production scaling primarily in 2027 and initial trial customers in the single digits. Management also plans an open co-packaged or nearby optics approach, with examples and trials expected next year and broader industry adoption anticipated in 2028 and 2029.
