APA Corp · 2026-08-06 · Importance 42 · Surprise 40 · Matches filing data
Worldwide production declined 12% to 409,959 boe per day in the second quarter of 2026, with oil production down 10% to 211,270 barrels per day and natural gas production down 16% to 752.1 MMcf per day. U.S. production decreased 9% to 263,187 boe per day and represented 64% of worldwide production, while Egypt net production fell 13% to 124,687 boe per day and North Sea production fell 30% to 22,085 boe per day. Second-quarter oil production declined primarily because of non-core asset sales, natural decline in the U.S. and North Sea, and North Sea downtime, partially offset by Permian drilling. Alpine High gas curtailments increased because extreme Waha basis differentials included periods of negative pricing.
