Aptiv completed the separation of its Electrical Distribution Systems business into Versigent on April 1, 2026 and distributed all Versigent ordinary shares pro rata to Aptiv shareholders. Aptiv received an approximately $1.9 billion cash distribution from Versigent, which it used to redeem senior notes and settle a tender offer. The separated business was reclassified as discontinued operations, and the second quarter of 2026 included approximately $50 million of bank-related success fees. Aptiv recognized approximately $201 million of revenue from sales to Versigent during the second quarter of 2026 and incurred $75 million of separation costs during the first six months, including $52 million reclassified to discontinued operations.
