Beginning April 2, 2025, the U.S. announced tariffs of at least 10% on imported goods from all countries, with higher rates for certain countries, and other countries announced retaliatory tariffs or negotiated trade agreements with the U.S. On February 20, 2026, the U.S. Supreme Court invalidated many of the 2025 tariffs imposed under the International Economic Powers Act. Aptiv said the tariffs and ruling had not significantly affected it to date, but future effects could be material depending on tariff scope, duration, retaliation and mitigation measures, particularly for imports manufactured in China and Mexico.
