The distribution business operates in eight states, with approximately 97% of residential and commercial revenues covered by weather normalization adjustments across specified periods in Kansas, West Texas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, Mid-Tex, Louisiana and Virginia. Mid-Tex was the strongest distribution division, with nine-month operating income increasing $137.7 million, supported by rate adjustments and customer growth.
