Kentucky American Water’s Richmond Road Station treatment plant in Lexington received the 2026 Excellence in Water Plant Operations Award. The facility has capacity of 25 million gallons per day and serves approximately 550,000 people in Central Kentucky, including downtown Lexington and the University of Kentucky.
