Manufacturing Capacity Expansion
BALL Corp · 2026-08-04 · Importance 46 · Surprise 42 · In source text
Millersburg began producing commercial cans in July 2026 and is expected to provide substantially its full value beginning in the first quarter of 2027. The one-line Oregon plant will produce standard-sized cans and therefore is not expected to create a material product-mix shift. Ball is also integrating the Hungary and Belgium facilities, with the goal of bringing them to full operational performance and 24/7 production during 2026. Management expects these capacity additions to support customers, improve network flexibility, and generate operating leverage after ramp-up.
