Boeing and Northrop Grumman demonstrated a command-and-control link that allows P-8A Poseidon crews to task MQ-4C Triton surveillance drones during missions. The Universal Command and Control Interface enabled the Triton to autonomously plan missions, collect intelligence, and return processed data to the P-8A. The capability strengthens interoperability and response times for U.S. Navy and allied maritime surveillance operations.
