Archer Aviation acquired Wisk Aero and two other Boeing subsidiaries in exchange for a 16.5% ownership stake for Boeing. The transaction consolidates part of the electric air-taxi industry and gives Boeing an equity interest exceeding 10% in Archer. The deal also ends a prior lawsuit between Archer and Wisk, while commercial passenger operations remain subject to regulatory approval.
