Lufthansa Group approved the exercise of purchase options for 20 Boeing 737 MAX 10 aircraft. The aircraft are intended to replace older Airbus A320-family aircraft in Lufthansa’s fleet, with deliveries expected to begin in the early 2030s. The order increases Lufthansa’s firm MAX-family orders to 60 aircraft and remains subject to U.S. Federal Aviation Administration certification of the MAX 10.
