CEO Kelly Ortberg said Boeing continues to face headwinds in the 737 and 787 production ramps. Ortberg also indicated that 737 MAX production is taking longer than previously promised, increasing execution risk for deliveries and cash generation. The 777X certification timeline was further delayed, while separate reporting said GE Aerospace does not expect a GE9X durability issue to affect the aircraft’s planned entry into service.
