Boeing subsidiary Insitu and Gogo reportedly tested satellite communications on an Integrator military drone. The system used Eutelsat’s OneWeb low-Earth-orbit network and was described as an ITAR-free, high-speed SATCOM option for global customers. The test positions Boeing to offer an alternative military connectivity architecture to SpaceX’s Starlink and may support government efforts to diversify military communications providers.
