BlackRock is launching tokenized versions of its Institutional Cash Series money market funds in Europe across sterling-, euro-, and U.S.-dollar-denominated share classes. The funds collectively manage approximately $311 billion and will be available across 15 European markets. The offering is being developed with JPMorgan and is intended for corporate treasurers, asset managers, and investment consultants. Two tokenized funds, BSTBL and BRSRV, are also designed to provide reserve assets for stablecoin issuers following the U.S. GENIUS Act, which established rules for stablecoin backing.
