Excluding BHE and BNSF, Berkshire’s borrowings were $43.3 billion at June 30, 2026, including $20.4 billion of Berkshire debt and approximately $18.2 billion of BHFC senior notes. Berkshire issued ¥272.3 billion, or $1.7 billion, of senior notes in April at a 2.4% weighted-average interest rate, with maturities from 2029 through 2056. BNSF debt was $23.5 billion and BHE borrowings were $61.8 billion, with BHE issuing $4.6 billion of term debt at a 5.8% weighted-average rate during the first six months.
