Consumer products pre-tax earnings increased 12.2% in the second quarter and 19.1% in the first six months of 2026 versus 2025. Brooks Sports and Jazwares benefited from higher sales, improved gross-margin rates and $ amounts from trade-tariff refunds received in the second quarter. Duracell’s earnings rose largely from increased advanced-manufacturing production tax credits, partly offset by higher selling, general and administrative expenses, while Forest River earnings declined from lower gross margins.
