Guidance / Outlook
BXP, Inc. · 2026-08-06 · Importance 37 · Surprise 42
BXP expects constructive leasing conditions to continue, driven by demand for premier office assets and improving leasing execution. Demand is strongest in Midtown Manhattan, Boston’s Back Bay, Reston Town Center and select San Francisco submarkets, while life science demand remains below historical levels, particularly among earlier-stage companies. BXP expects vacant-space leasing and coverage of approximately 300,000 square feet of lease expirations before December 31, 2026 to drive same-property occupancy and revenue growth. The company says it is ahead of its 2026 occupancy trajectory and expects new office construction to remain largely halted across its markets, improving longer-term supply-demand fundamentals.
