Selling, general and administrative expenses increased 19% year over year to $2.018 billion in the second quarter of 2026 from $1.694 billion. Research and development expenses increased 12% to $616 million from $551 million. Total operating costs rose to $16.248 billion from $13.709 billion as cost of goods sold increased to $12.781 billion from $10.807 billion.
