Caterpillar announced an additional $3 million investment in Arkansas as part of its five-year, $100 million Building the Future Workforce Initiative. The funding will expand access to training for modern manufacturing and industry technician roles, with a focus on the company’s North Little Rock facility. Caterpillar will work with the Academies of Central Arkansas, University of Arkansas Pulaski Technical College, the Little Rock Regional Chamber and other community organizations. The North Little Rock facility currently employs approximately 530 people.
