North America was the strongest reported region, with second-quarter sales up 39% and six-month sales up 37%, supported by higher equipment sales to end users, favorable price realization and dealer inventory changes. Latin America sales increased 10% in the quarter and 7% year to date, primarily from higher end-user equipment volume. EAME sales rose 15% in the quarter and 17% year to date, while Europe was expected to remain stable and Africa construction activity was projected to remain strong.
