PJM capacity prices increased sharply in the six months ended June 30, 2026, reaching $279.80 per MW-day in both the Eastern Mid-Atlantic Area Council and ComEd zones. These levels were up 212.1% and 305.0%, respectively, from the prior-year periods. New York capacity prices also rose 40.5% to $154.00 per MW-day, while ISO-NE prices increased 2.2% to $84.68 per MW-day. The pricing environment reflects material changes in capacity-market economics across Constellation’s Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, and New York operating regions.
