Constellation commissioned the 105 MW Pastoria Solar Project in California in April 2026. The project is contracted by the California Department of Water Resources and connects through the interconnection facilities at the 750 MW Pastoria natural gas facility. An 80 MW/320 MWh battery energy storage system, the Pastoria Power Bank, came online in July 2026 and is supported by a 15-year power purchase agreement with Pacific Gas and Electric Company. The co-located solar-and-storage configuration expands renewable generation and grid flexibility at an existing thermal site.
