Approximately one-third of the estimated cost of the Blue Point One low-carbon ATR ammonia facility relates to materials imported into the United States. Most imported materials are expected to arrive in Louisiana in 2028, creating a concentrated procurement and delivery timetable ahead of the planned 2029 production start. Construction timing may also be affected by delays in receiving equipment, transportation constraints, labor or material shortages, and third-party performance. The project’s Common Facilities are planned on a similar timeline to the ammonia facility.
