CUMMINS INC · 2026-08-04 · Importance 44 · Surprise 60
For the remainder of 2026, Cummins expects strong demand in Power Systems power generation and industrial markets, stable aftermarket demand, and continued strong medium-duty and heavy-duty truck demand in North America. Management warned that higher costs, tariffs and other inflationary pressures could reduce earnings. Trade disruptions, including embargoes, sanctions, export controls and the ongoing conflict in Iran, could interrupt production and raise oil and other input costs. Cummins is taking supply-chain mitigation actions and working with customers to pass through incremental costs.
