ConocoPhillips Skandinavia awarded Noble Corporation’s Noble Interceptor a 670-day contract to plug and abandon wells in Norway’s Greater Ekofisk area. The work is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2027 and supports decommissioning of mature offshore assets. ConocoPhillips is also pursuing new production through its Previously Produced Fields project in the same historically important Norwegian oil region.
