ConocoPhillips Alaska’s $800 million Coyote 3SX project in the Kuparuk River Unit achieved first oil on August 7, ahead of schedule and under budget. The development is the 50th drill site in the Greater Kuparuk Area and comprises 19 development wells. Production is expected to reach a peak rate of 12,000 barrels per day.
