Costco announced that its first Western New York warehouse, in Amherst, will open on October 28, ahead of the holiday shopping season. The store is located at 4230 Ridge Lea Road after construction delays caused by sub-freezing temperatures. Costco also plans a second Western New York location in West Seneca and is reportedly considering a second Williamson County, Tennessee, location to relieve congestion at its busiest Middle Tennessee warehouse.
