Costco plans to open 14 warehouses in the United States and Canada during October and November, including 10 U.S. locations and four Canadian locations. Some of the new warehouses will replace older, smaller stores, while Costco is targeting more than 30 new warehouses annually over the longer term. The company currently operates 928 locations worldwide and serves 82.9 million paid members.
