Salesforce agreed to acquire Rune Technologies for $375 million in cash and stock, according to Resilience Media. Rune develops AI software for predicting U.S. military supply needs and managing field logistics. Salesforce said Missionforce has grown 80% year over year, supported in part by a new 10-year, $5.6 billion U.S. Army contract. Integrating Rune’s frontline logistics data is intended to extend Missionforce from back-office planning into battlefield operations.
