Cisco joined Verizon’s 6G Innovation Forum alongside eight other newly added industry participants, including Amazon Web Services and NVIDIA. The forum reported real-world trials of integrated sensing and communications with Samsung and Qualcomm, including crowd detection and drone and vehicle tracking applications. Cisco’s participation places it within an ecosystem developing AI-native, low-latency wireless applications for future 6G networks.
