GLP-1 Distribution Channels Expansion

CVS HEALTH Corp · 2026-08-05 · Importance 31 · Surprise 42 · In source text

CVS Health is expanding direct-to-consumer access to FDA-approved GLP-1 medications through its CVS Health app, MinuteClinic digital visits and approximately 9,000 CVS Pharmacy locations. A collaboration with Eli Lilly will provide eligible patients with access to Zepbound and Foundayo, transparent pricing and potential same-day pickup by early fourth quarter 2026. CVS lowered MinuteClinic digital weight-loss visit pricing to $29 and added pharmacist support, combining virtual clinician consultations, prescription fulfillment and in-person care without a membership fee. The integrated offering positions CVS to compete for growing consumer demand for weight-management treatments across insured and cash-pay channels.
