Second-quarter total revenue increased 7.3% year over year to $106.096 billion from $98.915 billion, while six-month revenue rose $13.019 billion to $206.522 billion. Products generated $66.219 billion, premiums generated $35.117 billion, services generated $4.119 billion, and net investment income generated $641 million in the quarter. Revenue growth was broad-based, with Health Services up 11.5% to $51.795 billion, Health Care Benefits up 3.5% to $37.538 billion, and Pharmacy & Consumer Wellness up 0.7% to $33.816 billion. Health Services growth reflected pharmacy drug mix and brand inflation, while Health Care Benefits benefited from Government revenue growth and was partly offset by the exit from individual exchange business.
