Angola-based Etu Energias announced an agreement to acquire Chevron’s participating interests in Angolan Blocks 14 and 14K. The transaction follows Etu’s matching of Energean’s reported $260 million offer for the same assets. The deal would reduce Chevron’s exposure to these Angola oil blocks while transferring ownership to a local energy company.
