Gross customer additions remained strong and on trend, according to CFO David Obstler. Variability in reported customer count was concentrated at the low-end boundary between free users and contracted customers, which management said has very little effect on revenue. Customers above $1 million and above $100,000 in annual revenue were both trending well. Management therefore characterized the apparent weakness in total additions as primarily a low-revenue customer-count issue.
